There can’t be that many people who have traded life as a performance artist for a career in financial planning, but that’s exactly what Damon did. Prior to joining us in 2011, he had spent years touring the world with an international dance company.

After studying on tour to become a financial adviser, he returned home to Perth with the ambition of meaningfully helping people to discover and realise their best life. However, he soon became disillusioned after receiving job offers from firms that didn’t feel right – firms more focused on sales than clients.

Then, Damon came across Capital Partners. Our values rekindled his hope of a rewarding career, and as soon as he joined us as an associate, it was clear he’d found his professional and spiritual home.

Since then, Damon has risen to become a highly respected wealth adviser, epitomising our values. He loves seeing clients, especially ambitious retirees, gain a sense of certainty about being able to live their best life. And Damon takes his own advice, immersing himself in the things that matter: His children, relationships, interests, health, and success – all working in balance and harmony.
