In what is a tremendous achievement, our very own, Emma Zwaan has been named as Paraplanner of the Year in the 2020 FPA Awards.

Last week, the Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA) announced the winners of the 2020 FPA Awards.

Now in its eighth year, the FPA Awards recognise exceptional financial planners, paraplanners, university students and FPA Professional Practices from across Australia.

The awards also celebrate the individuals and businesses who go above and beyond to deliver outstanding results for clients and give back to the community.

Our Associate Adviser, Emma Zwaan, was named as the FPA Paraplanner of the Year, with the judges noting that Emma’s Statement of Advice (SOA) submission showed “an ability to adapt the communication style towards the client’s situation and articulate how the client is put in a better position as a result of the advice” and that Emma clearly “demonstrated technical, research and strategic skills in all areas”.

Emma has gone from strength to strength since she joined us in 2017. After becoming a finalist at the 2018 FPA Paraplanner of the Year Awards, we are delighted that her hard work and commitment to making a difference in people’s lives has been recognised with her winning the 2020 FPA Paraplanner of the Year.

Congratulations to all the winners and finalists in this years’ awards.
