The position of Associate Adviser is primarily responsible for ensuring our clients’ financial affairs are proactively managed, reviewed and assessed, to optimise their financial resources and maximise their financial position.

This is achieved through having an excellent working knowledge of each clients’ financial position and effectively communicating with clients and their external professional advisers on their strategy.

The Associate Adviser is also responsible for managing team deliverables and maintaining the highest standard of technical expertise.

Key Functions of the Role

Review all client strategies and meeting documentation ensuring accuracy and compliance is strictly adhered to;
Support the Wealth Adviser at client meetings and maintain a deep understanding of each client’s financial affairs, plus awareness of changes in their circumstances;
Respond to client queries efficiently and with minimal supervision from the Wealth Adviser, acting as the secondary point of contact for clients;
Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients and professional advisers (eg. Accountants, lawyers etc);
Effective communication and co-ordination of team members and external professional advisers to ensure all client deliverables are accurately implemented in accordance with delivery standards; and,
Proactively keep up to date with changing legislation, in consultation with industry experts if necessary and initiate required changes and/or training with team members.
